Sunless tanning is also known as UV-free tanning, self tanning, spray tanning, or fake tanning.  It refers to the application of substances to the skin to produce an effect similar in appearance to a suntan.

We have two main elixir options for achieving Sunless Tanning.

1) Infinity Bronze Tanning Solution – An all-natural, anti-aging sunless tanner made with antioxidants and pure botanicals, leaving the skin radiant with a natural-looking, golden brown glow. Containing a cosmetic bronzer derived from walnut extracts, our bronzing solution delivers immediate results but continues to develop for 12 hours. The bronzer will wash off during the first shower but the longer lasting glow will fully develop in 12 hours.

 

2) Infinity Clear Tanning Solution - An all-natural, anti-aging sunless tanner made with antioxidants and pure botanicals, leaving the skin radiant with a natural-looking, golden brown glow. This product was designed for clients who wish to enjoy the ultimate sunless tan without added bronzer. Fully develops in 12 hours. 

 

What Colour Will My Tan Be?

You will have a natural looking golden brown glow.  Clients who have experienced other spray tans may worry about looking "orangey". Not so with Infinity Sun.  With the highest quality ingredients of Infinity Sun and with the evenness of the computerized spray technology, we are able to achieve the right colour to satisfy each client.

 

How Long will Spray Tanning Results Last?

Your luminescent glow can last up to two weeks and it gradually fades, remaining natural looking for the complete duration of the effects.  You can prolong the effects of your sunless tan by using the at-home product Glow on the Go which is available for retail if you choose.

 

What Additional Spray Elixirs are Available with Infinity Sun?

Several additional treatments may be added as an option to your spray tan to enhance your benefits.

 

1) Infinity Normalize Treatment – A fine blend of exotic aloes which assists in hydrating porous areas of the body. This product enables the sunless tanning solution to penetrate uniformly into the skin, resulting in a longer-lasting, more even sunless tan. This product can be sprayed immediately before sunless tanning by your technician.

 

2) Infinity Anti-age Treatment – A skin rejuvenating treatment made with exotic plant extracts, antioxidants and botanicals to uncover the skin’s natural radiance. This treatment is ideal for use after sunless tanning sessions. It can also be used as a treatment on dry skin or skin that is lacking in collagen to revive the elasticity and firm the skin with its tightening attributes.  The treatment can be sprayed by your technician if you choose.
 

3) Infinity Shimmer Hydration Treatment – An exclusive blend of shimmering radiance infused with emollients and humectants which serve to soften the skin while delivering a delightful glowing effect. This product contains a small amount of DHA, which enhances the tan when left on for 12 hours. The shimmering effect will wash off with the first shower. This product can be sprayed by your technician immediately after the spray tan or as a stand-alone treatment between sunless sessions or even on those who do not sunless tan to create a subtle shimmering effect.

How Should I Prepare for my Sunless Tan?

For the optimal sunless tanning experience, make sure to follow Infinity’s Sun recommendations for preparation and aftercare.  This will ensure you obtain the best results possible from your Infinity Sun experience.

PREPARATION
• Shower
• Shave
• Exfoliate with Infinity Sun non-abrasive body masque.  Use the day before or on the morning of your treament. This will be provided to you by Glow Medi Spa in a single use packet.  If you choose to use your own abrasive exfoliant with granules instead, make sure it is done at least 3 days prior to avoid any irritation to the skin just prior to the tan
• Do not wear lotion
• Do not wear deodorant  (wipes will be provided if necessary)
• Wear loose, dark clothing and open toed shoes (preferably flip flops)
• Disposable under garments will be provided.  If you wish to bring your own and tan with your own, you may do so (bathing suit, g-string).  Black or dark under garments are recommended.

AFTERCARE
• It is recommended to wait until the following day to shower or sweat. Minimum 8 hours, preferably 12.
• Do not swim, as this will remove the sunless tanner

• If you notice any discolouration on your sheets or towels, this will wash out with your regular laundering

•It is recommended to use the Infinity Sun Hydrating Skin Extender  to keep the skin hydrated and make the tan last longer

• Use the Infinity Sun Glow on the Go sunless tanner to touch up face, hands and feet if needed as the tan fades fastest in these areas

 

What is Infinity Sun Glow on the Go?

Infinity Sunless Tanning Aerosol – An anti-aging, self-tanning aerosol spray enriched with anti-oxidants, vitamins A and E, and seven skin-essential oils. Infinity Sun aerosol is alcoholfree
and features a refreshing vanilla aroma-therapeutic fragrance. This spray system is developed with a multi-directional applicator for quick and seamless applications and is perfect for use on the face, neck and décolleté areas or for touching up fading areas in between Infinity Sun tanning sessions.
